Hmmm, Another Day, another quarter

I know, it used to be dollar, but with inflation and all....
So, I've been working on this cross-stitch piece called Double Dutch Sampler. Allen (my hubby)usually hates it when I spend the evening cross-stitching, but the other night he actually commented that he like what I was working on. I don't understand what he doesn't like about my stitching-I do it to keep my hands busy and be creative while I am watching TV. If I don't, I tend to doze in my chair, like he does. I'll post a picture, but warn you that it is a week old - I took one this morning of the more recent progress, but it didn't turn out. I'll try again next week.
Anyway, when I got home last night, I noticed that he had mowed the front lawn and washed up several of the dishes, including some pans (we don't own a dishwasher as our plumbing is all funny and won't handle one).
So, I won't usually post on Saturdays and Sundays, those are my days off work, and while I have access to the 'net, I don't usually take the time to get on. So, since today is Friday, it will probably be Monday before I get back to posting.....
